2013: Countdown

by on November 26, 2013

Welcome, welcome, one and all, to Advent 2013.

Advent Knowledge got its start a few years ago, and its website in 2012. We’ve been getting bigger and more exciting every year, and this year it’s your turn.

Yes, you, over there. I’m looking at you. This is your gold-edged, personal invitation to put on your best hat and join in the game.

The premise of Advent Knowledge is very simple: everyone knows something cool. You know something cool. You can tell other people about the cool thing, and then they’ll know something cool too.

The big secret is also very simple: anything is cool if you care about it. It doesn’t have to be earth-shattering or life-changing or even useful in any way. If you’re enthusiastic about it, it’s fit to be shared with the world. I don’t want to miss out!

Whether you’ve been here before or just stepped in for a look, you are exceptionally welcome. Stick around, read the calendars, learn some things. Take the plunge and teach some things. It can be one post, or a whole calendar, or three different calendars with bells and whistles, and one post is every bit as important.

Signups are open. The first snippets of knowledge go up on Sunday.

Join the fun.
